Today I finally got the feeling that I was alone.  It was a really bad feeling but it quickly subsided though.  I’m not sure why I felt this.  I guess it is just because things have been stressful lately with school, friends, faire, and a hoard of other things.  Oh well… I also hate the feeling of uncertainty between close friends.

Enough EMO and now to

News of note:

-  I got a hot tub a few day’s ago.  It has been great for relieving stress and the like.

-  I got complemented on how well I can throw my voice.  I guess it is a good thing.

-  The movie “Thank you for Smoking” is great.  I would highly recommend it to everyone.

-  I found out the times for the 2 classes I’ll be taking over the summer.  It looks like I’ll be taking Calc 1 and Organic chemistry over the summer.  If I get though both classes it will help a lot.

-  Earth day looks like it will be a lot of fun.

So this weekend was tartan days.  What is that you ask?  It is a faire that is devoted to every thing that is Scottish (aka: if it is not Scottish IT’S CRAP!).  The rest of the renaissance faire was there re-enacting and such.  I played the historical figure known as Alexander Selkirk.  Don’t know who he is???  He is basically a famous privateer who got stranded for 4 years on an island.  Every heard of Robinson Crusoe?  That was based off of old Alexander’s life with one exception.  He was alone.

Ok so back to the story.  I got to act like a pirate along with about 10 other people and just got mess around, although no one said “arhhhhh” because those are gay pirates.  The other people that are apart of the Renaissance faire also played other historical roles like William Wallace and Scottish fighters.

There are 2 big rules in re-enacting i learned

  1. Flirt a lot- this is rather easy to do in character I found.  You an actor so you can get away with a lot.  It is rather fun too do!
  2. Accent- Keep throwing your voice and talk like a Scotsman.

Now that you have read I’ll reward you with pictures.  :)

Here are some random people i meet and was around alot.  There really nice.

There i am with K.C. an over all great guy.  He was playing the man who wrote the book "petter pan".  There was a ton of people who played diffrent roles in the book.  examples: petter, wendy, hook, lost boys, indians, and even mermaids.

Here is sara miller (girl in the middle Smiling back at me) and some other girls.  Sara might be the strangest but is one of the funny's girls I know.

This is every one in a panic trying to pack things away before the storm hit.  Lucky for us we made it just in time.

This really has nothing to do with my weekend.  It was just my desk after studying for chemistry.   I don't think i did to hot on the test on friday though :(

Over all this weekend Was "tons of fun".  I only wish i could have done more but i lost an hour and could not do things i wanted to do.

Currently studying for chemistry.  It is funny because I have not studied as hard for any other test as hard as I have for this one.  So far I have spent around 13 hours studying and I still think I’ll fail or get a C on the test which is basically failing.

Other news

-         I got my space.  I don’t see what the big deal is.

-          Around 6 more weeks until school is over and the summer starts.  You know what happens then?  I go back to school and will have to take calc 1 and organic chemistry.  Did some one say suicide?

-         I discovered the band 30 seconds the mars.  There pretty good.

-         Tartan days are this weekend.  You’ll go if you know what is good for you.  I’ll have to take a lot of pictures and post them.

By the way this ass hole from Purdue is named Joe reddy too.  You can Really see the resemblance between the two of us.  I must say me and this imposter Joe share similar interests.
